Ranking on Page 1 of Google
Search engine optimization really works. After Inspired 2 Design optimized and reworked the menus and content on www.familydogcentral.com, they moved up the ranks to PAGE ONE of Google for their keyword phrases.
And on Yahoo! Family Dog Central is also on page one for their keywords.
This is just one of the screen shots for the page ranking for Family Dog Central. What’s really cool is that FDC’s main competition has been using Google Adwords (Pay Per Click marketing on those keyword phrases) for two weeks. In essence, they’re paying for page one … and Family Dog made page one organically… that means they’re there for FREE!
Here’s how quickly you can see results with good search engine optimization: We optimized and uploaded the Family Dog Central website on Friday afternoon. We uploaded a new sitemap.xml file on Sunday and notified Google that it was there. On Monday, Family Dog’s site hit page one of Google and Yahoo. (We didn’t check MSN until today, where Family Dog Central is NUMBER 1 on Live Search), and also today… they’ve already had at least one conversion on a visitor who came from a Google search. And that is just the beginning folks.
